Riprendiamo la lista delle uscite future. I più attenti avranno notato che nel titolo del Post di ieri era riportato anche un Paul Simon, di cui tra poco. Per la serie, una reunion non si nega a nessuno, tornano anche i Mavericks. Evidentemente il non grande successo dei dischi solisti di Raul Malo, per usare un eufemismo, ha consigliato i componenti della band a tornare insieme. Quindi, a vent’anni dal primo album From Hell To Paradise (ma ne avevano pubblicato uno a livello indipendente nel 1991) e a nove dall’ultimo sempre omonimo, con la formazione originale (almeno i musicisti principali, oltre a Malo, il bassista Robert Reynolds e il batterista Paul Deakin) tornano con un nuovo album co-prodotto da Raul Malo e Niko Bolas (quello di Neil Young) e con dieci nuovi brani quasi tutti firmati dallo stesso Malo:

Da Nashville dove vive, l’ex Eurythmics continua imperterrito a fare musica, con i SuperHeavy, come produttore per Stevie Nicks, Joss Stone, da solista. Lo scorso anno aveva pubblicato The Blackbird Diaries, in questa annata 2012 esce The Ringmaster general con Joss Stone, Diane Birch, Alison Krauss, Jessie Baylin, Orianthi alla chitarra e musicisti come Chad Cromwell, Michael Rhodes, dan Dugmore e altri. Se non cantasse sarebbe meglio ma…
…c’è in giro molto di peggio (anche di meglio)!
