Qualche mese fa, in occasione della “ristampa”, peraltro altrettanto inutile, di How The West Was Won dei Led Zeppelin, si era detto che Jimmy Page stava lavorando a del materiale Live, da pubblicare verso l’autunno, per il 50° Anniversario della band https://discoclub.myblog.it/2018/01/27/uscite-prossime-venture-3-e-pure-questo-e-fondamentalmente-inutile-led-zeppelin-how-the-west-was-won/ . Spero che non fosse questo il disco previsto in uscita, ma che tra le tonnellate di inediti registrati dal vivo che esistono del gruppo, alla fine la montagna partorisca un topolino.Quindi dita incrociate, e vedremo se entro la fine dell’anno qualcosa succederà.
Per il momento la Warner pubblicherà solo il megabox che vedete effigiato qui sopra (prezzo previsto indicativo tra i 200 e i 250 euro, mica bruscolini): 9 supporti in tutto, e zero inediti, complimenti, sono soddisfazioni. La versione in 2 CD e quella in quattro vinili usciranno anche divise, come pure, a parte, anche una versione Blu-ray, solo audio, singola, che peraltro costerà circa 40 euro. Inoltre ci viene orgogliosamente annunciato che nel quadruplo vinile per audiofili, con un nuovo mixaggio di Page, per la prima volta sono riusciti a far entrare la versione completa di 29 minuti di Dazed And Confused su una sola facciata di un LP. Mentre per ciò che concerne i DVD, praticamente troviamo la versione doppia video, che era già uscita nel 2007, con i 4 brani che mancavano nel film originale, “Celebration Day,” “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Misty Mountain Hop” and “The Ocean.” , con un ulteriore DVD audio che conterrà le versioni HD Stereo e Dolby Surround.
