Chi sono costoro? E soprattutto cosa ci fanno qua? Sono le due domande che sorgono spontanee. Ma è ovvio, sono gli inductees per il 2011 nella Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, ovvero gli “insediabili”, gli “eleggibili”, le “reclute” secondo l’esatta traduzione del termine inglese che viene dal gergo militare. Si tratta in definitiva dei nuovi musicisti che dall’anno prossimo entreranno a far parte dell’Olimpo dei grandi della musica: Alice Cooper, Neil Diamond, Dr.John, Darlene Love, Tom Waits e Leon Russell. C’è anche Jac Holzman il patron della Elektra che per misteriosi motivi è stato indicato come Jack Holtzman (un errore capita). Già ma indicato dove?

Ci arrivo fra un attimo. In questo fine anno in attesa di parlare delle nuove uscite, che non ci saranno fino a metà gennaio, mi sto preparando con una nutrita serie di Anticipazioni che richiedono ascolti e tempo visto che il sottoscritto i dischi li ascolta prima di scrivere magari delle sciocchezze ma motivate e senza il “magico” ausilio dei comunicati stampa delle case discografiche o altri siti come è pessima usanza in moltissimi Blog. Cercherò anche di recuperare alcuni dischi sfuggiti nel corso del 2010 e alcuni Musicisti Carbonari del passato e del presente che attendono di essere scoperti o riscoperti.

Nel frattempo proseguo con questi Post di tipo “didattico” con classifiche, liste di fine anno, best of e quant’altro e girando per la Rete un po’ di tempo fa mi sono imbattuto in un sito che per i “malati” di Musica è una vera cornucopia di dati e statistiche veramente (in)utili ma assai sfiziose e divertenti.
