David Bowie – Loving The Alien 1983-1988 – Parlophone/Rhino – 11 CD – 12/10-2018
Abbiamo appena recensito il Live Welcome To The Blackout di David Bowie che già viene annunciato un nuovo Box della serie delle ristampe in ordine cronologiche di tutta la produzione discografica del Duca Bianco. Dopo https://discoclub.myblog.it/2017/08/04/anticipazioni-cofanetti-autunnali-3-david-bowie-a-new-career-in-a-new-town/ che era uscito a fine settembre dello scorso anno e copriva il periodo berlinese fine anni ’70, fino agli inizi anni ’80, ci tuffiamo a capofitto proprio in questa decade che a mio parere non è una delle migliori di Bowie, ma ha comunque alcune cose interessanti. Al solito il cofanetto è ricco di materiale raro ed inedito e, come vedete sopra, contiene un libro rilegato di 128 pagine, oltre ad una serie di 11 CD.

Alcuni completamente inediti, tipo il Live del 1983, la nuova produzione 2018 di Never Let Me Down, quel CD chiamato Dance del 1987, che contiene tutti remix dei brani, e il solito doppio della serie Re:Call, che raccoglie tutti i singoli, le B-Sides e i brani presenti nelle colonne sonore dell’epoca in esame. I CD saranno dorati e alcuni album avranno anche nuove copertine e vesti grafiche rivisitate.
